The Buganda Queen Sylvia Advisory Council (BQSAC) was officially established on April 9th, 2024, following the appointment of advisors by Her Royal Highness Sylvia Nagginda, the Nnabagereka (Queen) of the Kingdom of Buganda. BQSAC’s mission is to advance Queen Sylvia’s dedication to improving the lives of children, youth, and women in Uganda, across Africa, and around the world, focusing on empowerment, education, healthcare, and gender equality.

To leverage Obuntubulamu values in the provision of technical vocational education and training, mentorship, cultural heritage enrichment, spiritual and recreation enhancement programs that improve the lives of children, youth, women and men in Uganda.

Our PURPOSE:
BQSAC serves as a strategic advisory body to Queen Sylvia, offering research-driven recommendations and practical support for her global initiatives. Queen Sylvia’s commitment to empowering women and girls is the driving force behind all our efforts, and we execute our work with the highest levels of professionalism and integrity.
